The Melbourne Guitar Show is set to burst back onto the music scene nationally when it returns August 6 & 7, 2016. An almost purpose built for us venue in the Caulfield Racecourse will again host the event.

Our Guitar Exhibitors are back and numbers growing after the sensational response to the 2015 event, when the Melbourne Guitar Show was hailed the biggest music event in Australia on its weekend, with close to 5,000 people at the event.

We have extended the floorplan to include more performances and an acoustic only level, that will showcase the cream of guitar pickers and products. We’ve back from the USA’s NAMM Show, people are excited and we’ve got a few irons in the fire for some great players to visit us. The industry has not mobilised like this for years in the quest to promote music and the guitars that make it.

Our local talent pool is deep and we will be drawing from the best. Like 2015 we will present international award winning players, from a wide choice of genres. We will bring back some favourites and seek to profile more of our artists.

We’ll showcase Australian ingenuity in our displays of world class Australian guitars and amps, along with the world’s biggest names in guitars and product.
