The Australian Music Association is launching a new initiative to support exporters of music products. The Music Australia International Conference Contribution (MAICC) provides funding of up to $5000 to attend important international showcase events and trade shows to pursue export development strategies. Businesses producing Australian made music products can apply in the first round to attend events from September 2025 to January 2026, including The NAMM Show, Music China, Guitar Summit, Cremona Musica and PASIC.
The straightforward and fast application and assessment process makes it easy to apply, and a total of $60,000 in two rounds over 12 months is available. Applicants must be a member of the AMA.
The MAICC initiative has already supported over 200 music industry professionals to attended international conferences via the Association of Artist Managers (AAM), Australian Live Music Business Council (ALMBC), Australasian Music Publishers Association (AMPAL) and the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR). Through this new partnership with the AMA, the same funding is extended to music products exporters. MAICC is funded by the Australian Government through Music Australia.
The first round of MAICC funding is now open, and closes on Thursday 31st July 2025 at 3pm.
