Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world-famous brand with offices across the globe. Within Fender Musical Instruments Corporation’s (“FMIC”) Australia team, we are looking for an enthusiastic salesperson to join our closely-knit team who will generate new business with existing customers by using upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience.

We are searching for an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE based in SYDNEY. This professional will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.

Essential Functions: 

• Making outbound phone sales solicitations to established list of customers.
• Answering direct inbound phone calls from the same list of established customers
• Managing customer list jointly with in-field sales partners (Business Development Manager)
• Entering customer orders into the computer system
• Meeting all sales goals including overall territory forecast, focus product group sales, and phone call quantities/duration.
• Enhancing relationship between customers and the company
• Maintaining and building customer records in Outlook Contact Manager
• Developing monthly call plan
• Enhancing brand exposure through selling the company’s priorities
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Proficiency in music making.
• Broad musical instrument product knowledge
• Proficiency with Windows based computer usage
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment while prioritizing and managing time well.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Sales
• Prior sales and telemarketing experience preferred, especially in the music industry
