Sound & Music are an independent import and distribution company specialising in recording equipment, content creation software and hardware, and hi-end audiophile devices.

We are seeking a proactive and engaged person to fill an internal sales / support role.

The role is full time and will be based in our office in Moorabbin Victoria.

Excellent communication skills a must.

Actual role tasks:

  • Receive inbound customer sales inquiries over phone and email
  • Provide quotations, product / service information, and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries
  • Promoting the features and benefits of our supplier’s products and provide advice on the best fit for dealer’s customers
  • Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company’s products / services
  • Provide administrative support for the sales team
  • Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff
  • Maintain client databases and relationships
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting to both dealers and end customers
  • Management of warranty claims and returns
  • Provide after sales support for all brands within the company portfolio and manage authorised return requests, troubleshooting and assessment of faulty inventory
  • Manage spare parts inventory, salvage of parts from written off equipment and ordering parts as necessary from suppliers
  • Management of dealer rewards program, approving submissions and providing support and encouragement to participants.
  • Maintain Australia wide repair partner supplier databases and source new suppliers as necessary
  • Liaise with Forwarding Companies and book shipment of orders
  • Provide regular updates to Sales Staff of incoming shipping movements
