Neville and Linda Kitchen gave birth to a beautiful book marking the company’s 70th Anniversary at a packed event this week in Melbourne. In what Neville and Linda Kitchen described as a family affair, the book pays homage to the many wonderful artists that have played Maton, including Elvis Presley, Keith Richard and if course our own master, Tommy Emmanuel. Maton artists were on hands too, with performances from Russell Morris and Shane Howard.
Linda particularly singled out her daughter, Chantal Defraga who had done the many, many months of work it took to publish the tome, get the photo rights and so on.
A round of high profile media appearances has heralded the book and all have celebrated the fact that Maton is ‘and always will be’ according to Linda, be made in Australia.
Congratulations to Neville, Linda and the Maton team. And of course its available at all good book stores.
