The Australian Music Association is excited to announce the return of the Melbourne Guitar Show in 2023, set for Caulfield Racecourse on March 4 & 5.

The response to the return of the Melbourne Guitar Show has been very encouraging after more than three years since the last show. The whole events industry is waking up again, post-pandemic and despite weather interventions in some parts of the state, festivals and events are being well supported again. Our main event has likewise been enthusiastically supported by the industry. The majority of members have already locked in their stand space. Major brands are represented as well as an exciting cross section of local makers. The current list of Exhibitors can be found at our new show website – www.melbourneguitarshow.com.au/exhibitors

It’s been 3 long years since we’ve run our show, but the industry will be set to show our finest guitar products to our show-starved enthusiasts.AMA Executive Officer, Alex Masso said, “the association is pleased to be able to announce the re-birth of our iconic show in 2023. The industry has missed the chance to meet face-to-face and talk to guitar enthusiasts about our great products”.

Proudly presented by Australian Musician, and supported by Marsh Entertainment, Triple M, PBS FM and Mixdown, early word is that it will feature both local and international guitar stars.

In addition to world class performances from an impressive array of artists, MGS 2023 will also present a massive gear expo by over 50 exhibitors that will feature a huge variety of electric and acoustic guitars, effects pedals, amps and more state-of-the-art guitar technology, both home-grown and from around the world.

We will be launching the show officially in the first week of December and tickets will be on sale in December, pre-Christmas.

There are still a handful of good stands on both the ground floor and up on the acoustic level. If you have not yet made your decision to exhibit contact the Organiser, Rob Walker to discuss your options.

Stay tuned for the announcement of artist appearances and the first cut of the program in early December too. It will herald the planning work done to date to promote one of the industry’s principal product segments.
