About the role
We are looking for an experienced Service Support Administrator, who knows their way around electronic terminology and can confidently communicate with technical staff. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing best practice customer service and spare parts delivery solutions. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of Yamaha products and proven experience of spare parts order processing and/or inventory management.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role
- Answer inbound customer and Yamaha service network enquires via our CRM, including repair case management and updates
- Process inbound and outbound spare parts orders using our SAP Hana S/4 platform and process payments (full training will be provided)
- Provide support to our service centres, including but not limited to registering new providers, login account advice, warranty and dealer returns claims processing
- Maintain our service portals, including user registrations and responding to enquires
- Manage product changeovers and service returns
- Identify and inform the customer service manager of repair trends or parts supply anomalies
- Process shipping documents and support freight forwarding company requests
Your skills and experience
- At least 2 years customer service / order entry experience
- A team player with a flexible, mature outlook who can build rapport, show initiative and who has excellent problem-solving skills
- Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel and Word
- SAP and CRM experience
- Broad understanding of Yamaha products and proven experience of spare parts order processing and inventory management
- Familiarity with basic electronic terms and an ability to confidently communicate with technical staff
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

This role is open to start in November, and we encourage early applications. It is a full-time position working remotely from our head office in Melbourne. We have a hybrid work model in place, working Mondays and Fridays from home, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from the office.
