This association was very sorry to hear this morning of the passing of Jim Bevk, long-time face at the iconic Guitar Crazy in Coogee where he worked with his brother Charlie. Jim died after a battle with cancer. He would have turned 61 on November 1st.

Jim was a funny guy with a quick and sometimes acerbic wit and was much loved by many who visited what was once Australia’s most iconic and one of the world’s great guitar stores.

Guitar Crazy opened in the mid 80’s and Jim was there until a few years after Charlie passed away in 2002.
