About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Operations & Finance this role is responsible for the full breadth of HR strategy, operations and policy, working closely with the executive team. Having recently implemented a transformational change project, a key focus of the role over the next 12 months will be to support the business in successfully embedding the new structure along with new work rhythms and enhancing our collaborative workplace culture. The position is supported by an experienced part-time Payroll and HR administration consultant. This is a full-time 12 month fixed term maternity leave cover position. We have a hybrid work model in place, working Mondays and Fridays from home, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our lovely South Melbourne offices.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role:

  • Embed new Learning Platform (LinkedIn Learning) and Learning Culture, underpinned by Capability Framework
  • Implement a Talent Management Framework inclusive of talent mapping and succession plans
  • Manage the annual Performance and Reward process
  • Develop annual Engagement action plan based on Survey outcomes
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition process including onboarding
  • Ensure Compliance with Industrial Relations Legislation across all aspects of HR
  • Review and maintain HR Policies and Procedures
  • Management of OH&S – Provide a safe, healthy and hazard-free environment for staff and manage any RTW or Work Safe processes.
  • Coordinate bi-annual company conferences
  • Manage performance and grievance processes
  • Employee life-cycle administration

Your skills and experience:

  • Solid HR management or business partnering experience
  • Experience implementing LinkedIn Learning and associated Learning Culture
  • Proven track record of implementing HR initiatives and programs aligned to corporate strategy
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or similar
  • Knowledge of employment law and associated regulations
