Data Issues

• For the 2025 report this section has been cleaned significantly, filtering out everything below $100 AUV (all from China) which may be some kind of keyboard but probably are not acoustic keyboards. This category is now fully rolled into the Section total for Pianos & Keyboards, after filtering out most low value outliers, assuming that some are mis-coded pianos or electronic keyboards. These units will still be counted towards the Section total.
• Fewer tables are included because this is a small sub-category with limited information. The wording of HS Code 9201900053 is "Pianos, incl automatic pianos; harpsichords & other keyboard stringed instruments (excl upright and grand pianos)", howeover it seems unlikely that this section is mostly harpsichords. More likely, it includes mis-coded pianos.
