Vale Ian Lindsey

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Ian Lindsey, and all at Musos Corner & Foleys Pianos, after the much loved music store owner and piano technician passed away on 18th May, 2022.

Musos Corner shared this message:

We are saddened to hear of the passing of the former proprietor of Foley’s Pianos, Ian Lindsay. Ian began his trade as a piano technician at the age of 16 and has been part of the fabric of Newcastle retail for decades. In his time in music retail, Ian established himself as one of the most respected and trusted practitioners and piano tuners in the country and his product knowledge and advice particularly on his beloved Kawai pianos was unsurpassed. Ian’s family, friends and colleagues will miss him greatly and our sincerest thoughts go out to them at this time. Rest in Peace Ian.
