The Haworth family has sold Haworth Guitars to Phil and Joel Stormer from Stormer Music.

This will be the first music store owned by the Stormer brothers, whose music education business has grown from its beginnings in the Blue Mountains to 16 locations through its franchisees. Haworth Guitars has grown particularly through its online store, while maintaining its ‘local music store’ presence in the Illawarra as well as its guitar workshop and music school. The store has been named as the top dealer of Cole Clark guitars worldwide multiple times, as well as a NAMM Top 100 Dealers award and a Local Business Awards.

“This is our first music shop and we’re so pleased to be able to continue the great work of supporting and promoting music on the South Coast” said the new owners in a statement. “You’ll see all the key team are staying with us, and we’ll keep stocking the big brands and gear you love. We have some great stuff coming for you all, starting with some updates around the shop as well as Haworth Fest and a massive clearance sale. We’d like to make special mention of Glenn Haworth & Phil Haworth for trusting us to carry on their legacy and supporting us through the changeover too.”

Haworth Fest will be held on 18th May.
