We are currently recruiting for a full time Financial Accountant to work in our Finance team in Riverwood – South West Sydney.

This is a broad Financial Accounting role that will suit a candidate who enjoys learning and understanding how a business works from the ‘big picture’ down to the financial detail.

You will be undertaking the following duties: 

• Preparation of accurate and timely month end to draft board pack for CFO review (including reports / analysis & commentary)
• Becoming a key finance contact for AMG stakeholders across all departments, providing commercial support, analysis, and challenge where appropriate
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Liaison with, and administration of various group subsidiaries
• Yearend process and auditor liaison as required
• Assist in management and administration of bank finance, FX and hedging activity
• Administer FBT, GST and prepare BAS returns
• Preparation of analysis and insight as required
• Working with the CFO on relevant projects

You will have the following skills and experience:

• CA/CPA Qualifications
• 3-5 years’ post qualification experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Prior experience with Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Jet Reports or similar (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated ability in to add commercial value to the wider business.
