Small businesses may be eligible for a free Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) package through the Community and Small Business CCTV Fund.
This fund provides free CCTV packages of up to $5,000 to eligible community groups and small businesses in eligible Local Government Areas in Greater Sydney.
Applications close on 30 April 2023
All CCTV systems installed under the fund are registered with the NSW Police. If a crime occurs, Police will request access to relevant data to help identify and prosecute offenders. Your right to privacy is important, so Police will only request access to your CCTV footage if a crime occurs in the vicinity of your business.
You must also be operating from premises within one of the following Local Government Areas (LGAs): Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Penrith, The Hills, Blue Mountains, Camden, Canada Bay, Cumberland, Georges River, Inner West, Parramatta, Strathfield, Wollondilly.
Each application will be considered on a case by case basis by the CCTV Program Team. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
