The Department of Home Affairs is running four online information sessions in May to help businesses prepare ‘decision ready’ employer nominations and visa applications.  

The AMA hears from members that this process is complex, slow and challenging, particularly for small businesses and for niche occupations such as Musical Instrument Makers and Repairers.

The session will include practical guidelines to help employers prepare and submit complete applications. The webinar sessions are open nationally and will be held on:

Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 May:

11:00 -12:00 (ACT, NSW, TAS, QLD, VIC) / 10:30 – 11:30 (NT, SA) / 09:00 – 10:00 (WA)

Monday 25 and Wednesday 27 May:

14:00 -15:00 (ACT, NSW, TAS, QLD, VIC) / 13:30 – 14:30 (NT, SA) / 12:00 – 13:00 (WA)
